Description   This is one of the most beautiful of Avi's spindles.  The whorl is 2 9/16" in diameter and is made from maple wood and wenge. There is a beautiful inlay design in addition, there is is silver inlay in the ebony wood around the shaft.  The spindle weighs 1 1/4 ounce and the shaft is 12" long and crafted from Goncalo Alves wood from Brazil.
