We are happy to have this gorgeous new knit kit designed by Ilga Leja, now available in Hand Maiden Sea Silk.

As rivers make their way to the ocean, swirling, flowing, they create currents and eddies and eventually merge with the sea in tidal streams. This stole, worked on the bias in a Lace Garter Stitch Pattern, reflects the constant movement of tidal waters. The gently ruffled ends, streaming outwards, represent the melding of river and ocean. The stole is lovely in handpainted fingering weight yarn.

Our complete knit kit includes Ilga's beautifully written pattern and 2 skeins of your choice of color of HandMaiden's gorgeous, silky Sea Silk yarn which is 70% silk and 30% "seacell." Color shown in pattern photo is Summer Tide and was specially dyed for us by our friends at HandMaiden.
