Diana Taylor aka Sock is a textile artist from Davis, California. She created a world of colorful and whimsical Sock Bugs and Baby Bugs that have spread among sock knitters, who gleefully acknowledge having been bitten by the sock-knitting bug. Based on a small 19th century silk purse from the Japan Toy Museum in Kodera-cho, Diana has created the perfect tote and companion for the knitter who has everything.
Besides Sock Bugs, Diana grinds stones and wraps her own unique jewelry, spins, knits and dyes yarn, which can all be seen, in her ETSY shop. She also has a blog, which is filled with her many (too many!) other interests such as cycling and heirloom tomatoes.

update 7/8/08-the bugs came and went quickly! just one sock bug and one baby left as of today :) we will order more!
