Marion's sock yarns come to us from Germany. Marion is a woman who loves to knit, and one day she decided to learn about hand painting of yarns. She decided she loved the hand painted yarns she created and started her own little company. We learned about Marion, and also her lovely daughter Melanie who helps her, though friends in England who raved about her yarns. They truly are beautiful sock yarns! There are now two types of sock yarn from Marion. A new yarn is 100% pure merino and is brand new. The second yarn is 80% merino and 20% nylon. Some people prefer merino with a bit of nylon for more durability. Each hand painted skein is enough for a pair of adult size socks but always check your pattern's requirements.
