Lanas Puras fingering weight skeins have a generous 440 yards of soft merino yarn. This is enough for a pair of socks or a scarf. The yarn is a beautiful and unusual single ply yarn, but it does hold up well for socks even though it is very soft. The yarn also felts well. Please check your pattern's yardage requirements. This yarn works well for socks, shawls or for any pattern using fingering weight yarn.
Please make sure to buy enough yarn for your project as the dyelots can vary from one shipment to the next. All of our new yarns have dates on them and if you are making a sweater, we will do our best to send you yarns of the same dye date. Due to the artisan nature of this yarn and the fact that the skeins are painted by hand, there will be some color variations from skein to skein.
