A man’s field jacket or vest in six sizes S(M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X), to knit in an allover tweedy textured stitch, with set-in sleeves (vest has ribbed armhole trim),chest pockets, side hem slits, and shirt collar. - Yarn Requirements: sweater: 1625(1800, 2000, 2225, 2450, 2675) yds/1475(1650, 1850, 2050, 2225, 2450) m; vest: 1175(1325, 1500, 1675, 1875, 2050) yds/1075(1225, 1375, 1525, 1700, 1875) m of any bulky weight yarn that knits to the pattern gauge
- Needles: size 8US (5 mm) for body or size to obtain correct gauge; size 7US (4.5 mm) for cuffs, hems, and trims (or one size smaller than body needle)
- Notions: 5(5, 6, 6, 6, 6) .75-inch (2 cm) buttons plus 2 buttons for pocket flaps (optional)
