Yarn/Pattern Suggestions

A toe-up sock with an asymmetrically placed openwork pattern of leaves, that winds up the foot and around the leg, ending in an eyelet rib at the top edge.

Features

Finished Size: 8” sock circumference to fit feet up to 9” around. Sock may be made smaller or larger by using finer or heavier yarn and/or changing needle size.(Sock length and leg height are determined by personal preference)
Yarn requirements: approximately 380 yards of sock yarn for a female average size
Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch (fabric will be firm)
Note: row gauge is fairly important as it will affect the pattern placement on the foot
Needles: DPNs size 1US (2.25mm) or size to obtain gauge
