Yarn/Pattern Suggestions

A soft neckwarmer in two sizes (S/L) provides a chill-chasing layer as pretty as it is warm. Knit in a “scaffolding” motif with a little openwork and some twist-stitch accents, it is finished with a knit-on border of lace points. This piece knits up quickly, travels well, and makes great use of a small skein of luxury yarn for a beautiful gift.

Features

Finished Size: 17(20) inches in circumference around neck tube and 24(28) inches around bottom edge (blocked). Height from hem edge to top border = 6 inches
Yarn Requirements: 150(200) yards
Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4” in stockinette (unblocked)
Needles: size 3US (3.25 mm) 16-inch circular needle (or size to obtain correct gauge) one DPN same size as body needle (optional; use for hem edging if needed)
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.
