Another incredible knit kit with a pattern designed by Anne Hanson of Knitspot.com! This kit is in our own luxurious Black Pearl Yarns cashmere. We have tried to make this kit easy for you to order. The pattern includes instructions for the mitts, the hat and the scarf. These patterns require 1, 1 and 2 skeins of Black Pearl Yarns cashmere. If you order more than one kit, we have provided several discount codes for you to use below.  All kits include the pattern download.

The base kit includes one skein of Black Pearl Yarns DK weight cashmere in bamboo green and the pattern.

• Add one additional skein of cashmere and you can make either the mitts and the hat, or the scarf.  Use the discount code ZIG1 to receive an additional 5% off your order. One pattern is included.

• Add two skeins of cashmere, giving you a total of three skeins or enough to make the scarf and the mitts or the scarf and the hat.  Use the discount code ZIG2 to receive an additional 10% off the cashmere. One pattern is included

• Add three additional skeins of cashmere, and then you will have four skeins total, enough to make all three items in the kit.  One pattern is included.  Use the discount code ZIG3 to receive 15% off the cashmere yarn.  One pattern is included.

The kits come in Bamboo Green but we can substitute any color that we have in stock.  Indicate your color choice(s) on your order and we will email you if we do not have enough of that color. 

An alternate yarn is Artesano Alpaca DK weight yarns, Inca Mist or Inca Cloud.  If you choose to use this yarn, you will need two skeins each for the hat and the mitts.  The scarf takes approximately three skeins. If you are not familiar with this yarn, it is a very high quality, super soft luxury alpaca yarn from England.  Make sure to look at all the Artesano patterns and kits.  We will be adding on many more of their patterns and kits this year. Sizing:
The pattern comes in sizes S, M and L for the hat and mitts and one size for the scarf.   The yarn requirements are for the mitts and the hat: 150(175,200) yards.  The scarf takes approximately 300 yards.  You can use these measurements to substitute other yarns although the cashmere is simply gorgeous!! The kit includes a discounts as well when you buy the Black Pearl Cashmere yarn.

Some alternative yarn suggestions are:
Artesano Alpaca, either Inca Cloud or Inca Mist - 2 skeins for mitts, 2 skeins for hat, 3 skeins for scarf

Lanas Puras Fingering Weight Yarn - 1 skein contains approx 400 yards, so 1 skein will make both the hat and the mitts or the scarf, two skeins will make all three items.

Fleece Artist and Hand Maiden Yarns - Any of the luxury sock yarns would work for this pattern - The Nova 100% merino sock yarn,  100% merino sock yarn and sea wool yarn would all be excellent choices.  We are adding also Casbah, a luxury cashmere blend yarn from Hand Maiden Yarns.

Jo Sharp Alpaca Silk Georgette (142 yards per ball), Alpaca Kid Lustre (111 yards per ball) or Silkroad DK tweed  (147 yards per ball).

Sheep Shop Yarns - Sheep 3, Merino and Silk Yarn, each skein has a generous 325 yards, so one skein would make the scarf, 2 skeins would make the mitts, scarf and hat.

mitts: DPNs size 2 US (2.75mm) or size to obtain gauge
hat: 16-inch circular needle and one set DPNs size 3 (US (3.25 mm) or size to obtain gauge
scarf: size 5US(3.75mm) or size to obtain gauge
