Kaalund Yarns are painted by hand in Queensland, Australia. Their colors are simply beautiful and they reflect the colors of the Australian landscape.

Classic 2 is a 2 ply yarn spun from 100% pure Australian wool. We know lace lovers will love the softness of the wool and depth of colors in this exquisite yarn. Each 50 gram ball has approximately 384 yards or 356 mm of yarn. The recommended needle size is a US 1 (2.25 mm) and the stitch gauge is 36sts x 46 rows (10cm/4"). Because these lovely yarns are painted by hand, the colors may vary slightly from dyelot to dyelot. Color fastness is not guaranteed. Make sure to buy enough yarn initially for your project and some knitters knit simultaneously from several balls at once changing balls every few rows. Your final garment should be washed by hand and dried flat.
