Description

Contemplate city life, as it passes through the courtyard. You will be comfortably, but elegantly dressed in this lacy vest with its intriguing pattern of double yarn overs. Make yours cropped or long and then wear it over a summer T-shirt or on its own. This is a new pattern designed by Ilga Lega shown in Fleece Artist Sea Wool (70% merino wool, 30% seacell) but would be lovely in any variegated DK or sport weight yarn.

Level: Intermediate
Suggested Yarn: Sportweight or double knitting yarn in the following amounts: 400 m./437 yds. (450 m./492 yds.; 520 m./569 yds.; 600 m./656 yds.; 800 m./875 yds.; 970 m./1060 yds.; 1040 m./1137 yds.) - sample shown in pattern photo uses Fleece Artist Sea Wool (70% merino wool, 30% seacell, 350 m./383 yds. per 115 g. skein) in “Wine Country” colour
Needles: 4.0 mm. (US 6)
Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm./4 in. square when knit in the Pattern Stitch and after washing and blocking
