Hummingbird 4 Ply is a gorgeous new alpaca yarn from Artesano of England. It is very soft and luxurious superfine alpaca yarn, in a sport weight. It comes in the same colors as the large 150 gram skeins of DK Hummingbird, but this is a lighter weight yarn and can work for any pattern using the solid Artesano DK yarn. This is a great yarn for socks! It is also wonderful for scarves, shawls and light sweater tops.

Each 50 gram ball has 200 yards or 184 mm of yarn, with a recommended needle size of 3.25-3.75 mm (US 3-5).

There are new patterns using this yarn as well as yarn kits. This yarn is the same as Artesano DK yarn and can be interchanged in any pattern.
