We have two different weights of HipKnits cashmere yarn, a lace weight and a sock weight. You get a lot of yardage with these yarns! The skeins of lace have 2400 yards of cashmere and skeins of sock weight have a very generous 750 yards of cashmere! Each skein is a 100 gram skein.

We have several patterns that were designed specifically for HipKnits cashmere. The Annabelle pattern, by our own Melissa Wehrle is just adorable, and the typical sweater uses 2-3 skeins of the sockweight cashmere. Then there are several patterns that are free, if you buy a skein of cashmere yarn. The Cashmere Laceweight Cardigan uses only one skein of laceweight cashmere yarn. The Moose Ridge Socks by Chrissy Gardiner use one hank of HipKnits sock weight cashmere.
