The trinity stitch always looks great, no matter where you use it. Here it adds texture to the brim of a hat. The hat is good practice with this favorite Aran stitch pattern and the end result is a hat that is thick and warm on cold ears.

• Yarn: Worsted weight yarn, 180 (200, 220) yards (11 wpi). One model used Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Shepherd’s Wool Worsted.
• Stonehedge Shepherd's Wool, Lanas Puras worsted weight is also suitable as are several of the yarns from Natural Dye Studio.
