Description Yarn/Pattern Suggestions More Info   The fluid design of this scarf is a wonderful study in the behavior of lace knitting when yarn overs are placed in various positions relative to the compensating decreases.  It can be knit in any fine yarn-lace or fingering weight.   Features Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate You will need approximately 500 yards of lace or fingering weight yarn. This scarf can be adjusted in length and/or width to make a wider stole or thinner scarf. Size 5 US (3.75 mm) needle. Gauge-Average of 5 1/2 stitches per inch over combination of border and main patterns after blocking under tension. Includes written and charted instructions. All Heartstrings patterns are very well written and clear.
