Description Yarn/Pattern Suggestions   Create a one-of-a-kind look! Here is a chance to get creative using a mix of yarns.  You can combine handspun with lace and fingering weight, or use ribbon yarns or various weights of yarns.  Easy Asymmetry can be arranged to wear this shawl in a variety of ways.   Features Pattern Difficulty: Easy enough for a beginner with basic knitting skills. Sizing-Small-Medium and Large-Extra Large Measurements: 25(29 1/2)" x 63 (77) "diagonal measure. You will need approximately 350 (500) yards of each of three different yarns. Each of the yarns is knit for one row and then the sequence repeated. Be creative!! Size 8 US (5 mm) knitting needles suggested. Guage: 4 1/4 sts and 7 rows per inch over stitch pattern after washing and drying. Design notes in the pattern offer many variations. Gauge-4 1/2 stitches and 5 1/2 rows per inch over lace pattern after blocking. This pattern can easily be adapted to make a different size shawl by using more or less pattern repeats. The pattern can also be adapted for any other weight of yarn by using an appropriate needle.
