Description Yarn/Pattern Suggestions   This lace scarf is named after its main pattern stitch, "Crest of the Wave-" a derivitaive of the popular Shetland lace stitch Feather and Fan or Old Shale.  The pattern has a lace border and lace panel that are knit at the same time.   Can be knit in any fine yarn-lace or fingering weight.   Features Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate You will need approximately 500 yards or 2 -3 oz of fine yarn. Blocked pattern measurement: 14 x 68". Size 6 US (4.00 mm) needles Gauge-Average of 4.5 st/ inch over combination of border and main patterns after blocking under tension.
