An absolutely gorgeous yarn, new to One Planet Yarn and Fiber. HandMaiden's Lady Godiva is a beautiful silk and wool blend. This is a 3 ply yarn perfect for shawls, a light sweater or any project calling for a DK weight/light worsted yarn.

Each 100 gram skein has 250 meters or 273 yards of yarn. The stitch gauge is 20 stitches over 4 " on size 4 mm (US 6 )needles.

This yarn has great yardage and is comparable to Fleece Artist Woolie Silk. It can be used for any of the patterns that use Woolie Silk 3 ply or Black Pearl Yarns cashmere and we have many. Make sure to look at all of the Ilga Leja patterns and kits and Fleece Artist Kits.   We also have a section of patterns for DK weight yarns  and worsted yarns-just make sure to look for a comparable gauge.  If you see a kit that uses Woolie Silk and would like to use Lady Godiva instead, please email us and we will work out a kit price for you. Our kits include the pattern and the yarn at a lower price than buying the products separately. Lady Godiva has a higher silk content so you will have a slightly more luxurious sweater with a lovely silky feel and drape.
