Sail the stormy seas with these stranded colorwork socks that utilize two different shades of semi-solid blue yarn to suggest waves on the ocean. Contrasting heel is worked using short rows. This is a new pattern designed by Chrissy Gardiner for Gardiner Yarn Works

Size: foot circumference = 7.5”
Yarn Requirements: fingering-weight yarn, approx 300 yds each of MC and CC (Check out our Indie Yarn section for a huge selection of unique, handpainted sock yarns perfect for this pattern. Another great choice would be our very own Lanas Puras Melosa, fingering weight yarn).
Gauge: 32 sts/40 rnds = 4” in colorwork pattern on size 1 (2.5mm) ndls
