This is another incredibly gorgeous yarn by Fleece Artist.  Woolie Silk 3 Ply is a DK weight wool and silk blend, perfect for lace work and lace sweaters.  Each 100 gram skein has 230 meters or 251 yards of yarn.  The stitch gauge is 20 stitches to the inch on US 6 (4 mm) knitting needles.  The fiber blend is 65% wool and 35 % silk.  

We bought this yarn because it is beautiful and perfect for many of the patterns on our site.  Many of the Ilga Leja patterns are designed with Fleece Artist and/or Hand Maiden yarns of this weight.  Soon we will have kits with some of her patterns and these yarns.  Also make sure to check the section on our site called "Patterns for Sport/DK Weight Yarns" for many patterns including shawls, sweaters and more.  

Each skein is painted by hand and is truly one-of-a-kind. The
colors are gorgeous.  Please make sure to get enough yarn for you project since the skeins can vary slightly.  These skeins can vary slightly from dye date to dye date so we cannot guarantee that yours will look 100% like the photo.  Some have more or less blue as an example plus monitors can vary.  If you are buying for a project, we will try to choose similar skeins.

**Although we try to capture the color way of the yarn as well as we can, the skeins you get can look slightly different for several reasons.  Color is subjective, monitors vary and the yarns can vary from dye date to dye date even with the same color way name.  If you click on "more photos" we try to take several photos so you can see the differences, but again, your monitor might have a lower or higher resolution than ours.  Therefore we cannot absolutely guarantee that the yarn you receive will look exactly like the yarn on your computer screen.
