Somoko is a gorgeous new luxury blend yarn from Fleece Artist. This yarn is perfect for socks because the nylon adds incredible strength. But it is also soft enough for shawls, and lace, and summer tops. The luxury fiber blend is 65 % merino, 20% kid, 10% nylon and 5% silk. The nylon adds strength for sock yarn. This is a fingering weight yarn with 28 stitches over 4 inches on a 2.5 mm ( US 1 ) needle. Each skein weighs 115 grams and contains 325 m or 355 yards of yarn.
