Each skein of luxurious Italian Silk is 100 grams with 300 meters or 328 yards of pure 100% Italian silk. This is an unusual very high quality pure single ply silk yarn. It is a fingering weight with a gauge of 26 stitches over 4 inches on a 3 mm or between a US 2 and 3 knitting needle. This yarn is perfect for shawls and scarves and even for light shells or sweater tops. If you want an unusual and luxurious finished product, Italian Silk would be a wonderful yarn to try.
