Description   Bonnie's Bamboo is a gorgeous new yarn from Farmhouse Yarns.   Each skein is 3 1/2 ounces with 200 yards of yarn.  This yarn is 100 % bamboo and hand painted in a variety of pretty colors.  It is a DK weight yarn with a gauge of 5-6 stitches per inch on a US 5 needle.   This is a perfect yarn for spring and summer weight garments or really for all year.  Use this yarn for any DK weight pattern, for shawls and light sweaters.  People who are sensitive to wool or alpaca love bamboo yarn.  It has a beautiful sheen similar to silk.
