Behind the chic is Bonne Marie Burns, a talented and experienced knitwear designer.  Make sure to visit Bonne Marie's blog and also her website.  Bonne Marie started her design website in 2001.  She wanted to add simple, but modern and wearable designs and hand knitting patterns. Her background includes training in fashion and graphic design and these skills merged with her passion for fiber, fit and finish.

These patterns are extremely well written, professional and organized.  On the front of each pattern, the yarn and materials requirements are clearly laid out.  Each pattern includes a schematic and a chart if necessary.  The directions are easy to read and very clear.
