The ridged texture of this round necked cardigan makes it great for either a boy or a girl! The sweater in the photos is knit with a jacquard self-striping yarn. You can also substitute any handpainted or variegated yarn. A very fun kids sweater with great directions like all of Bees Knees Knit Patterns.

Sizing: 0-6 mo(6-12mo,1-2yrs,2-3yrs) for Chest sizes 20 1/2 "(23 1/2,26,29")" or 52cm(60,66,74)cm
Gauge: 30 stitches and 42 rows to 4" (10 cm) with St St on size 3 mm (note most US companies do not have 3 mm needles. Use a US #2 Needle).
Yarn yardage requirements: Self-Patterning or Variegated Yarn: 457(458,458,6458 yards) and Solid Yarn 4-ply yarn: 229 (229,458, 458) yards.
