An exciting and gorgeous organic cotton and bamboo yarn from Be Sweet. This yarn is spun from 70% organically grown cotton with 30 % bamboo. The cotton is so so soft and the bamboo adds a beautiful shine. Next to your skin soft, this yarn is perfect for baby/children patterns, light summer tops and for those sensitive to animal fibers.  

Each ball of yarn is 50 grams, with 100 yards of yarn.  The gauge is 5 stitches to the inch on US 6 needles.   Bambino can be used for any Be Sweet patterns using Be Sweet Bamboo yarn as well as for other DK weight patterns.

The yarn was hand dyed by women in South Africa under a jobs creation program that has offered opportunity in economically depressed rural region with a 75% unemployment rate.
