Avi Wasserman's fine hand turned spindles come to us all the way from Israel. Avi is a true artisan. He learned about spindles from a friend on the internet and soon became a master at combining exotic woods and other precious materials into his work. Each spindle is turned by hand on his lathe. He uses exotic woods from around the world like yew, queensland maple and thuya burr and combines silver and pearls into some of his pieces. The spindles are tested for balance before shipment. Each spindle is a one-of-a-kind piece of art and is signed and dated by Avi. We are proud to carry Avi's spindles.
