Description   No Plastic for Me is is an adorable messenger style felted bag pattern from Artesano. Designed by Debbie Tomkies, this pattern uses the new Artesano Aran yarn which is 50% wool and 50% alpaca.  It felts beautifully and Artesano has several felted patterns using this yarn.   The finished bag size is 13 1/4" (34 cm) x 10 1/4" (26 cm) tall and 2 3/4" (7 cm) deep-perfect for carrying around your belongings!  These patterns are very well written and include a section on "tips and hints" for successful felting as well as schematics.  See below on what supplies you will need to make this bag.  The pattern photo is shown in Mahogany and Dawn colors of Artesano Aran, but you can mix any two colors.   Features Sizes: finished size is 13 1/4" (34 cm) x 10 1/4" (26 cm) tall and 2 3/4" (7 cm) Yarn: Artesano Aran: 4 hanks color A (mahogany in photo) and 2 hanks of color B (dawn in photo) Colorway Feel free to use other colors. If you need help with color selection, just ask! Needles: Pair 7.5 mm (nearest US equivalent US 11) or size to obtain tension. Gauge: 12 stitches and 21 rows = 4" (10 cm) over garter st on 7.5 mm (US 11) needles.
