These socks feature a Picot detail and a "Turkish heel" otherwise known as the "afterthought heel" which means it can be replaced as needed after the sock wears out. The socks use Artesano Hummingbird 4 ply Alpaca yarn. This yarn is identical in weight to Artesano 4 ply in the solid and melange colours, so the pattern can also be knit with one of those yarns.
