Desdemona is a lovely camisole sweater top which is part of a brand new collection of patterns designed by Marita Rolin for Artesano Yarn Company. The pattern uses Artesano Hummingbird 4 ply yarn. This yarn is identical in weight to Artesano 4 ply in the solid and melange colours, so the pattern can also be knit with one of those yarns.

YARN: 3 ( 3, 3, 3) 50 g balls Artesano Hummingbird 4 ply. Colour shown is Starling
NEEDLES: 1 pair 2.5 mm (US size 1.5) needles; 1 pair 2.75 mm (US size 2) needles; stitch holders; stitch markers
OTHER MATERIALS: 9 x 14 mm (.5 in) buttons
TENSION: 27 stitches and 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) over st st useing 2.75 mm needles
