Description   No Plastic for Me is is a fantastic new felted bag pattern from Artesano. Designed by Debbie Tomkies, this pattern uses the new Artesano Aran yarn which is 50% wool and 50% alpaca.  It felts beautifully and Artesano has several felted patterns using this yarn.   The finished bag size is 13 3/4" (35 cm) x 19 3/4 (50 cm) tall and 4" (10 cm) deep-perfect for carrying all of your belongings along and room for some knitting too!  These patterns are very well written and include a section on "tips and hints" for successful felting as well as schematics.  See below on what supplies you will need to make this bag.  The pattern photo is shown in Rosewood and Twilight colors of Artesano Aran, but you can mix any two colors. We will eventually develop a kit for this pattern, but in the meantime, if you order the yarn to make this bag, we will include the bag pattern for free.  Just let us know that you would like this pattern in the comments section when you check out.   Features Sizes: finished size is 13 3/4" (35 cm) x 19 3/4 (50 cm) tall and 4" (10 cm) deep Yarn: Artesano Aran: 5 hanks color A (rosewood in photo) and 1 hank of color B (twilight in photo) Colorway Feel free to use other colors. If you need help with color selection, just ask! Needles: Pair 7.5 mm (nearest US equivalent US 11) or size to obtain tension. Gauge: 13 stitches and 10 rows = 4" (10 cm) over st stitch on 7.5 mm (US 11) needles.
