This is an incredibly new and gorgeous yarn from Artesano of England. The yarn is 50% alpaca and 50% wool and the colors are beautiful because of this fiber combination. The yarn comes in large 100 gram skeins, with a generous 144 yards or 132 meters of yarn. The recommended needle size is 4.5 - 5.5 mm (US 7-9) with a stitch gauge of 16-20 stitches over 4".
This yarn felts beautifully and Artesano has a new range of felted patterns using this yarn. There are also quite a few other new patterns available.
