Anne Hanson learned to knit as a small child and has continued to experiment with, and further her knowledge of the craft over the 43 years since. she began designing garments in her teens and writing patterns in her 20s, drawing on her background in tailoring and technical design for the fashion industry. She writes about knitting, spinning, and designing at knitspot.com, and lives in Ohio.
