First of all, this yarn is a joy to work with -four incredibly soft plies with the right amount of twist make for nice smooth stitches that stand up well to cabling, and are not too splitty. Secondly, the yardage is impressive-I made a nice, long ribbed and cabled scarf with well under two skeins; I think I might even have enough left for a small project for me! I'm not going to start making sweaters out of it at this price, but with the great yardage (and frequent coupon opportunities from the fine folks at One Planet) this yarn will definitely remain high on my list for "special treat" smaller projects for very lucky gift recipients.
(Note: the color I used was "Singapore Smoke", a light gray which is not in stock at the moment.)

Great Price-Great Yarn

For my first cashmere experience, I can't say enough great things about Black Pearl Cashmere! The price was great, the yarn is excellent quality, and the service from One Planet, superb. I can't wait until my scarf is finished and wrapped around my neck!
